Where the handbook contradicts itself
We list these instead of quietly picking one. If a number above is affected, confirm with the exam vendor before test day.
- SalespersonPretest: summary table (p.8) gives '5 to 10 pretest items' for the exam; national outline (p.13) says national has 5 pretest; state outline (p.21) says 5–10.
- Salespersonpretest values taken from the Available Exams table (p.8: '5 to 10 pretest items'); national outline says 5.
- BrokerHandbook says broker gets 'a score for each part' and must 'retake the entire test if they fail' but does not state explicitly whether broker pass is per-part 75% or combined; pass rule “pass each portion” is read from 'passing score required on each examination is 75%' plus per-part scoring.
- Brokerpretest values taken from the Available Exams table (p.8: '5 to 10 pretest items'); national outline says 5.
